By the time you are reading this message, the PowerPoint Tribe would have moved fully into its new facility (The Garrison) in Anthony, Lagos and would have had its first service there — Whossssssshhhhhh, Glory to God.

Congratulations! You saw it, and you are a part of it, no matter what part of the world you are reading this from. From my perspective, I would attribute this to:

1. God

2. Goodly Heritage

3. Great Leadership

4. Gift of Men (Tribesmen et al.)

I have been opportune to be around The Tribe from the beginning Season, and I want to share a thought, a contemplation, that ran through my mind.

START

Why wait almost four years to walk in a part of the prophecy that has been spoken about the Tribe already? Couldn’t it have been that immediately PD gave the assignment to Pastor Dami and his team of Pastors (2019) — they just moved immediately into this season we are in now (2023)?

It is God who arms me with strength,

And makes my way perfect.

He makes my feet like the feet of deer,

And sets me on my high places. — Psalm 18:32–33 (NKJV)

The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. — Habakkuk 3:19 (NKJV)

God strengthens us. He is also our strength — he makes our feet like deer’s feet, and He makes us walk upon our high places.

A short note on the Deer’s feet (hooves)

Hooves are extremely important parts of a deer’s body. They help them run, jump, swim, and defend themselves; navigating different terrains.

Running and jumping with the help of the hooves is much easier, especially when deer try to escape a predator. While they primarily use their hind leg muscles for running, their hooves help them take rapid turns and push off while jumping. Moreover, since the hooves are made from keratin, they’re more durable than bones, which can crack. Therefore, the deer can easily rely on their “feet.”

Another interesting fact is that hooves allow deer to walk quietly and avoid making too many sounds. They literally make silent moves.

Now, let’s jump into the conversation

Per season, there is a new place, level, position, and capacity that God is taking each and every one of us to. Let’s call it, Your Version 2.0. For us to enter this destination, there is a posture we must have assumed in God. If we don’t assume this posture, we won’t be able to navigate the terrain (our high places) if we find ourselves there — we would faint |break because our strength is small (Proverbs 24:10)

God isn’t going to import contractors to assume the posture that you and I are supposed to become so that we can enter the next level; we are to enter that posture by God.

Sometimes it takes time, other times, it takes alignment, and yet other times, it takes time to find alignment.

Case Study

Abraham — For Abram to become Abraham of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth, he had to have trained three hundred and eighteen servants born in his house into people that could fight four kings to rescue five kings. He did this in love to save someone who left him in “strife” (Genesis 13). He also needed to discern and then commune with Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18–20)

David — The man that would become King of Israel must have killed the Lions and the Bears (antecedence), must be able to address and kill Goliath (a threat to the nation), and must have the right perspective on Israel, they are the armies of the living God (1 Samuel 17:34–36). He must be able to work with the incumbent king without strife, even though he is anointed (1 Samuel 16:14–23). He must be able to captain four hundred men who were in distress, debt, and discontent and make them mighty men (1 Samuel 22:1–3).

Gideon — The mighty man of valour who is supposed to “Go in the strength He has and save Israel out of Midian’s hand” is one who has found the Technology to thresh wheat in a winepress (Judges 6:11–14).

Joseph — The author of Tested Vessel already gave us his growth trajectory.

From our case studies, we know we would not just walk in our high places by swearing affidavits. You have heard it before, and I would still say it again: it is not just about the destination, it is about the journey itself.

As I begin to conclude my thoughts, let me start with individuals before speaking to the Tribe!

There is a posture God wants you and I to assume as individuals to move to the next level or stay balanced in our present level. This week gives us another opportunity to align with this posture.

The Word of God we hear, our individual and corporate walk with God, and our fellowship with the brethren at The PowerPoint Tribe or your local assembly are to equip you and me to have deer’s feet and help navigate our high places.

PowerPoint Tribe is a governing Church, and we say this with humility (because humility is calling yourself what God has called you). This week, as a House, we take more steps toward taking that posture as a Church. Amen. Grace, Growth and Glory.

Like MD loves to say, God can be trusted — give him time. Wherever you are, though, don’t settle but be present and give thanks.

LORD, we acknowledge that you have brought us so far; we are grateful. Seeing how far you have brought us, we are truly grateful, and we continue to judge you faithful 🙏🏾.

Do have a blessed week!

I remain a fellow Comrade serving with you to actualize the LORD’s Agenda.
